Shane Sanders is a trial attorney based in Houston, TX. Shane graduated from from Prairie View A&M in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. In 2016, Shane Sanders obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
In law school, Shane Sanders knew he wanted to be a great trial attorney. He sharpened his trial advocacy skills by joining several Mock Trial Teams, where he competed in various competitions both locally and Statewide. As a student Shane won his very first criminal trial.
After graduating in 2016, Shane began his legal career as a criminal defense lawyer in charge of his own legal practice. As a solo practitioner Shane represented individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony criminal offenses in addition to handling personal injury cases. Later he would become a prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney's Office. During his time there, he handled various misdemeanor offenses such as DWI's, assault family violence, assaults, prostitution and theft cases.
Being a former prosecutor means Shane knows how prosecutors prepare their cases. Now that Shane knows how to put a case together, he is better equipped at taking their cases apart. Shane brings his skills, knowledge and experience to Calhoun Meredith so that we can provide competent, aggressive and effective representation to our clients.
